From the National Weather Service in Duluth - June 30, 2026
Stay weather-aware today, especially if you live in or are traveling through northwest Wisconsin. A Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather is in place, and we are expecting a potentially active day with two rounds of storms. We could see the first round move in by late this morning, bringing damaging winds and large hail. A second round is possible later this afternoon into the evening, carrying similar threats along with the potential for heavy rainfall and a tornado or two. Take a moment this morning to ensure your phone's emergency alerts are enabled!
