Enjoy the sunshine Today! Early morning fog will clear, leading to partly cloudy skies with daytime cumulus this afternoon. Widespread showers and thunderstorms arrive on Tuesday and linger into Wednesday and Thursday. A few storms on Tuesday afternoon and evening may become strong to severe in portions of northern Minnesota, capable of producing damaging winds and large hail up to 1" in diameter.

Thunderstorms may become strong to severe on Tuesday afternoon and evening as a warm front lifts north and subsequent occluded front move through. Potential hazards include damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and large hail up to 1" in diameter. In addition to these hazards, locally heavy rainfall is anticipated with minimal flooding concerns. Make sure to keep an eye on the weather and have a plan for safe shelter!
