On Friday, June 12 at 5:30 PM, the Grand Marais Public Library will host a special Pride Month screening of The Dance Is Not Over, a new feature-length documentary by filmmaker Mark Wojahn, presented by Minnesota dancer, choreographer, activist, and performance artist Patrick Scully.

The film explores Scully’s nearly 50-year career in dance, queer performance, activism, and community arts, including his founding of Patrick’s Cabaret and his decades-long commitment to bringing queer art and dialogue to both urban and rural communities.

Following the screening, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion with Patrick Scully. This free public program is open to all.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
