Cook County, MN is currently recruiting election judges to help ensure fair, accurate, and accessible elections. Election judges play a vital role in administering elections and supporting voters at polling places across the community.
Polling Place Election Judge:
- Availability for either or both elections:
- State Primary Election, Tuesday, August 11, 2026
- State General Election, Tuesday, November 3, 2026
- Full or half day shifts (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
Early Voting/Absentee Election Judge:
- Flexible part-time weekday hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- Hours and Days will vary
- July 27- August 11
- October 19- November 3
Minnesota law requires party balance between the major political parties. At this time, there is a greater need for election judges affiliated with the Republican party.
Judges will be paid $18 per hour. Positions are not eligible for benefits.
