On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 1655 hours (4:55 pm), the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a Tettegouche State Park Ranger reporting that they had located a body on the rocks at the bottom of the cliff at Palisade Head.

The body was recovered by the Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit and Rescue Squad personnel. The victim has been identified as Seth Pipho, of Minneapolis.

This case is still under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
