First Half of Property Taxes Due Friday, May 15

The Cook County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office is reminding property owners that the first half of property taxes is due Friday, May 15. Payments must be received or postmarked by the deadline to avoid penalties.

 

Residents have multiple options for submitting their payment:

  • By Mail: Payments must be postmarked by May 15 to be considered on time.
  • Online: Electronic payments can be made through the county’s secure payment portal at https://beacon.schneidercorp.com/Application.aspx?App=CookCountyMN&PageType=Search.
  • In Person: The Auditor-Treasurer’s Office, located at the Cook County Courthouse 411 W. 2nd Street Grand Marais, MN 55604, and is open Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
