Grand Portage National Monument Announces Summer Hours Beginning May 23, 2026

Grand Portage National Monument will implement Summer hours beginning on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The Heritage Center will be open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the Historic Depot will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The historic depot will be open seven days a week through Monday, October 12.

Grand Portage National Monument is a fee-free site co-managed with the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, established to preserve a vital center of fur trade activity and Anishinaabeg Ojibwe Heritage.
