The Cook County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) has opened its annual tree sale for 2026. This year’s species include a variety of native shrubs, tall trees, and evergreens available for purchase in pre-determined bundles, such as Chokecherry, Sugar Maple, Yellow Birch, Tamarack, and several types of Pine and Spruce.

The sale is conducted exclusively through mail-in orders. To participate, residents must download, print, and complete the official order formLearn more here.

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Due to limited inventory, the SWCD recommends early submission. If a selected species is sold out when an order arrives, the SWCD will contact the customer to either adjust the order or cancel it for a full refund. Confirmation and receipts are provided via email.

Purchased items must be collected on Thursday, May 14, between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m at the storage garage behind the Cook County Community Center in Grand Marais.
