Here's a look at approximate start timing of thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight. Note that not all areas will see storms! In addition, here's a quick preview for Sunday's chance for some strong to severe storms.
Scattered strong to severe storms are possible later this afternoon and into tonight, mainly in north-central Minnesota. Large hail is the main threat along with damaging winds. Make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings in case one is issued for your area!
Here comes the heat! Look for pretty widespread highs in the upper 80s and 90s Saturday through Monday. Heat headlines may be needed for some places these days.
