The Cook County/Grand Marais Joint Economic Development Authority (EDA) is seeking an Executive Director to lead economic development initiatives in one of Minnesota’s most vibrant and scenic communities. This is a unique opportunity to guide business growth, community development, and partnerships across Cook County with support from a contracted consulting team and peer organizations.

This position is full-time with a salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 plus benefits. Candidates should bring experience in economic or community development, grant management, and/or nonprofit or government administration, along with strong communication and partnership-building skills. The EDA will provide onboarding and consultant support, making this role a great fit for candidates ready to grow into executive leadership.

The Executive Director role is community-facing. The EDA seeks a candidate who will be regularly present in Cook County and primarily based in the EDA office to build strong relationships with businesses, governments, and community partners.
