Updated on December 3, 2025:

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update regarding temporary parking restrictions at the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) to accommodate underground infrastructure upgrades related to the LEC expansion project.  Due to construction delays, parking and building access restrictions will continue for an undetermined period. During this time, public visitors, vendors, and non-staff personnel are asked to use on-street parking along the Gunflint Trail or County Road 7.

For questions regarding parking or access to the Law Enforcement Center, please contact Sheriff Pat Eliasen at 218-387-3030 or [email protected]
