From the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging - July 2, 2025

The Senior LinkAge Line will offer a virtual presentation covering healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse prevention on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Fraud and scams are on the rise, with some scammers targeting older adults specifically. But there are ways you can protect yourself and your personal information. Preventing fraud and scams includes information on fraud prevention, how to detect and report fraud and scams, so you can keep your personal information and yourself safe. This presentation includes information from the Senior Medicare Patrol, a federal education and prevention program.

This class is offered online via Zoom. You must pre-register by going to: https://August-Preventing-Fraud-and-Scams.eventbrite.com or by calling the Senior LinkAge Line at 800.333.2433.

We are committed to accessibility. If you have an accommodation request that will allow you to participate in the class more fully, please contact Dianne as [email protected] by August 8, 2025.

The Senior LinkAge Line is a free, statewide service of the Minnesota Board on Aging in partnership with Minnesota’s area agencies on aging. The Senior LinkAge Line helps older Minnesotans and caregivers find answers and connect to the services and support they need.
