From WTIP North Shore Community Radio - June 30, 2025

WTIP North Shore Community Radio invites listeners and neighbors to rally behind their largest membership drive ever, running from 7:00 AM on Tuesday, July 8, through noon on Monday, July 14. Why now? A federal rescission bill passed by the U.S. House on June 12 would claw back critical funding - removing roughly 25% of WTIP’s annual budget by cutting CPB support.

Local support is more important than ever. The goal to raise $100,000 is meant to help offset this funding threat and ensure the North Shore continues to hear local voices, stories, and music.
