Drought conditions have slightly improved this week, with "D0" or "Abnormally Dry" conditions being removed in parts of northeast Minnesota which have recently seen significant rainfall (1-3"+). However, the rain has not fallen the same everywhere, and D1/Moderate Drought conditions remain for parts of north-central Minnesota including parts of Cass, Crow Wing, and Itasca Counties including the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Reservation lands.
