Approximately 125 people attended the "No Kings" Rally, held in Cook County, MN, on June 13, as part of a nationwide movement. Hundreds of protests across the US and Canada are planned for June 14, organized as part of the 'No Kings' movement, which states its purpose is to express opposition to aspects of the current administration's policies, particularly the belief that President Trump is not above the law. The Cook County event, hosted by the group Arrowhead Indivisible, was held on June 13 in support of the Pride Celebration, scheduled for June 14.

Cook County community members and visitors chanted "No Kings, Dump Trump" alongside drums and kazoos. Signs calling for the removal of President Trump, protecting the Boundary Waters, and "Save Democracy" could be seen along the four corners where Wisconsin Street and 3rd Avenue West connect to Highway 61 in Grand Marais.

The protest remained peaceful, with many cars driving by honking in support.

Unlike the "Hands Off" protest earlier this year, which saw attendees with differing viewpoints, there were no protesters to express support for President Trump's administrative policies at this event.
