How long have you been working at Great Expectations School?
I have been GES's Environmental Educator for 4 years and a Special Education teacher for the school for 3 years.
What is the best part of your work day?
The best part of my day is seeing the students connect to what we are learning about to their own lives. I like making what we learn about in Environmental Education relatable and practical. My other favorite part of the day is greeting the students in the morning. This is when I get to hear about their evening or weekend. They get to tell me what they are excited about in and out of school.
What are some hobbies that you enjoy when you are not busy working?
When not working I enjoy hiking and crocheting. I also like to travel with my partner to new areas of the state and country. This summer we visited Big Bog State Recreation area, where the biggest peat bog in the Lower 48 is. There were so many different plants and animals to see there.
