How long have you been working at Great Expectations School?
I have been working at GES since 2011. This is my 9th year as the Bear Cubs kindergarten teacher.
What is the best part of your work day?
I love working with 5 and 6 year olds! They bring so much curiosity, joy, and enthusiasm to the classroom. Plus, they are hilarious! I especially love creating art with children. I also really love the community of coworkers at GES. There is such a positive spirit of collaboration.
What are some hobbies that you enjoy when you are not busy working?
Like many Cook County residents, I love to spend time outside hiking, gardening, and cross-country skiing. I am so lucky to live right on the Superior Hiking Trail and can visit the trails daily. I also love to bake and experiment with new recipes.
Any family or pet details that you wish to share?
My family includes Joe, Ezme (currently in 7th grade), Bea (currently in 4th grade), and Maverick, our boxer dog.
