From Cook County - May 4, 2026
Cook County is partnering with Memorial Blood Centers to host a community blood drive this May at the Cook County Courthouse, offering two days for residents and employees to donate and support blood supply. Blood donations remain a critical resource for hospitals and patients across Minnesota. Each donation can help save multiple lives, and new donors are always welcome.
The blood drive will take place on at the Cook County Courthouse:
- Thursday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, May 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Donors will check in at the Cook County Courthouse lobby, and the blood drive bus will be parked outside.
Community members are encouraged to sign up in advance by visiting www.mbc.org/searchdrives and using sponsor code 4604. Those needing assistance or wishing to schedule by phone or email may contact Betsy Blaisdell at 218‑387‑3611 or [email protected].
Double your donation, double the lives saved! You’re the right type if you are O+, O-, A-, or B-. Select the "DRBC" tab on the schedule to book your appointment as a double red cell donation.
