Spring on the North Shore comes back in pieces-open ground, softer air, and the start of something taking root again.

This Arbor Day, Castle Danger Brewery invites the community to be part of something that will grow for generations. On Friday, April 24 at 12 pm, the brewery will host its annual White Pine Seedling Giveaway at the taproom in Two Harbors.

White pines were once a defining feature of the North Shore landscape. Through the White Pine Project, Castle Danger Brewery is working to bring them back. Every pint of White Pine Project IPA supports reforestation efforts right here at home, helping restore these iconic trees to their natural habitat.

Since 2018, with the support of the community, 37,000 white pine seedlings have been given away.

Guests are encouraged to stop in, pick up a seedling while supplies last, and take home a small piece of the North Shore to plant and nurture. It is a simple act with a lasting impact.

While visiting, enjoy a pint of White Pine Project IPA, a bright, citrus-forward IPA with notes of tropical fruit and pine. It is crafted to reflect the very trees it helps restore.

About the White Pine Project IPA
The White Pine Project IPA is a beer with a purpose. Proceeds go directly toward replanting targeted areas along the North Shore. The beer features a robust aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine, balanced with a clean bitterness and a mellow golden malt character.

About the Seedling Giveaway
Each year around Arbor Day, Castle Danger Brewery distributes thousands of white pine seedlings from its Two Harbors taproom thanks to community participation and support.
