The clinic has scheduled two types of events. One is specifically for Kids and Family Vaccines, while the other, Community Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Events, is for anyone ages nine and up. Parents and guardians can get vaccinated alongside their children at the family events.

Dates and Locations

• Kids and Family Vaccine Events will be held at the clinic on Friday, October 3, from 2:00-5:00 pm and on Saturday, October 11, from 12:00-2:00 pm.

• Community Vaccine Events will take place at three locations:

  • Lower Level of Clinic: Wednesday, September 24, from 3:00-6:00 pm; Friday, September 26, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:30-4:30 pm; and Thursday, October 9, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:30-4:30 pm.

  • West End: Wednesday, October 1, from 8:30-10:00 am at Arrowhead Electric and from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at the Bluefin Bay Tofte Room.

  • Gunflint Trail Schaap Community Center: Tuesday, October 7, from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.

To schedule an appointment, individuals should call the clinic at 218-387-2330. The clinic advises bringing an insurance card or a check (payable to Sawtooth Mountain Clinic).

The listed costs are as follows:

• Regular dose flu shot: $27.00

• High dose flu shot (ages 65 and older): $100.00

• COVID-19: $124.00 - $181.00, depending on the vaccine type.

SMC recommends that individuals contact their insurance company beforehand to confirm coverage for the seasonal vaccines.
