Sunday, July 27 - 400 Years of  Fire and Wind in the Boundary Waters by Lee Frelich, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

Monday, July 28
 - Nature Talk: Loons (Museum Porch), 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 

Tuesday, July 29 - Kids' Day, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Free admission for the kiddos (0 - 18)

Tuesday, July 29 - Special Presentation Monarchs and More by Katie-Lyn Puffer from the Monarch Joint Venture, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 

Thursday, July 31 - Dark Sky Pano Shows, show times 3:00 & 3:30, each show lasts 20 minutes

Friday, August 1 - Guided Nature Hike: Lichen (Museum Porch), 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 

Sunday, August 3 - No Presentation

All presentations are free and open to the public.

Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Admission charge

  • $6/adult
  • $3/children 5 – 18, under 5 are free.
  • Discounts for Senior Citizens and the Military.
  • Free admission for anyone with a Gunflint Trail Historical Society membership.

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy 12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
