Le Grand Du Nord Gravel Classic bike race helps kick off summer in downtown Grand Marais

The Le Grand du Nord Gravel Classic bike race, presented by Heck of the North Productions, took place in Grand Marais over Memorial Day Weekend 2025. The event consisted of three separate distances over Forest Service and county gravel roads.
On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, cyclists rode on routes of 110, 50, and 26 miles. The races began and concluded at the intersection of 3rd Ave West and Highway 61 in downtown Grand Marais, right next to Voyageur Brewing.
