Cold Weather Advisory issued beginning February 4 for Cook County and Grand Portage

The National Weather Service in Duluth issued a Cold Weather Advisory from 12 am through 9 am on February 4 for Cook County, Grand Portage, and northern Lake County. Wind chill temperatures as low as -30 F are expected and can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Actual temperatures are expected to reach negative single to double digits. Cold temperatures are forecasted for Tuesday before a slight warmup and a chance of snow on Wednesday.
