AREAS AFFECTED : NORTHERN COOK/NORTHERN LAKE; SOUTHERN COOK/NORTH SHORE
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Northern Cook and Lake and Southern Cook Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM CST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
