Winter Storm Warning for Southern Lake/North Shore, Southern Cook/North Shore

AREAS AFFECTED : SOUTHERN LAKE/NORTH SHORE; SOUTHERN COOK/NORTH SHORE

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 6 inches. 
Greatest additional snow amounts will be between Grand Marais and 
Grand Portage where an additional 2 to 6 inches is possible. Snow 
amounts will be lower along the Lake Superior shoreline and lower 
elevation areas. 
 
* WHERE...Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. This includes 
the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation. 
 
* WHEN...Until noon CST today. 
 
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
