According to Brady Powers, Cook County Auditor, almost half of Cook County residents voted early. As of yesterday morning, there were just over 4,000 registered voters in Cook County, with 960 of those from Grand Marais.

Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund
Minnesotans had the opportunity to renew a constitutional amendment for the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund, which allows 40% of lottery proceeds to go toward environmental projects throughout the state (
learn more here). Voters had to select between "yes" to renew or "no" not to renew. Leaving the question blank was the same as a no.
Approximately 2.5 million Minnesotans voted yes, or around 78%. Over 500,000 voted no, and slightly over 200,000 were blank.
