Historic Cook County, Johnson Heritage Post, bring back annual Christmas Ornament Contest and Fundraiser

The holiday season approaches, and to celebrate, the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery is bringing back an old tradition: The Annual Christmas Ornament Contest and Fundraiser!
Donate a handcrafted ornament for sale and competition consideration by dropping it off and completing the submission form (see pdf link below) at the JHP Art Gallery any time between November 1st-December 5th. Ornaments will be sold in the JHP Gift Shop beginning December 7th, with all proceeds benefiting Historic Cook County community programming in 2025.
Submitted ornaments will be on display on the JHP Christmas Tree found in the Anna Johnson Gallery. One submission per artist. All ages and experience levels welcome, with a special youth award available for artists ages 7-13. Ornaments unsold by December 31st may be returned to the artist if desired.
