How long have you been working at Great Expectations School?
I started at the beginning of the last school year.
What is the best part of your work day?
Whenever I can make a solid difference by making a child feel loved, admired, and respected I know they will feel more confident and safe and be primed for learning and success. Those moments are far and away the best part of this job.
What are some hobbies that you enjoy when you are not busy working?
Reading anything that is very well written. Music: listening and collecting Afrocentric, African/American Latino, blues-based, and Americana. Bicycling, films, plays.
Any family or pet details that you wish to share?
I am the last Gailen. When I perish, we will be extinct!
