The 3rd annual Lutsong Music Festival took place this past weekend at Caribou Highlands Lodge and the North Shore Winery in Lutsen, Minnesota. Around 20 artists played to 300 ticket-holders over the three-day event; an increase from 240 ticket-holders last year

Saturday's threat of rain didn't deter attendees from coming out and enjoying the music on the main and side stages at the venues. Saturday morning featured two separate hiking groups that explored and foraged in the Lutsen area. Casual campfire “Guitar Pulls” brought together artists and attendees on Friday and Saturday nights.

The outdoor music festival headlined Joe Pug in a crowded performance at the North Shore Winery on Saturday evening. Pug is a folk artist based out of Maryland who traveled to Minnesota for the show. Other artists came across the country, and many were based out of the Midwest or Minnesota. Scott Schuler, one of Lutsong Productions, LLC co-founders, mentioned a notable increase in energy and more attendees in the evening performances. Schuler hopes that the festival can continue to grow.

Lutsong's tent filled throughout the afternoon with attendees.

Vendors lined the Caribou Highlands area at Lutsen Mountains.

Ryan Holweger's band played during the Saturday afternoon set. Holweger is now based out of Syracuse after most of his career in Minneapolis.

Molly Maher, one of the Lutsong Products LLC co-founders and a performing artist, thanks the crowd for coming before introducing the next artist.
