Fourth of July Day Events
- 43rd Annual 10K Trail Run/Walk Tofte Trek - 9:00 am
- Tofte 4th of July Celebration - all day starting at 11:00 am
- Community Picnic in Grand Portage
Fireworks
- Grand Portage at Grand Portage Bay, Grand Portage Lodge & Casino, at dusk
- Grand Marais at Grand Marais Harbor, at dusk
- Tofte at Tofte Town Park at 10:00 pm (If raining, then fireworks will be held on July 5th)
Special events
- Tommy Wotruba (renowned guitarist from the former Virgil Caine Band) at Skyport Lodge and Raven Rock Grill - July 4, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Trivia Night at Up Yonder, hosted by the Cook County Historical Society - July 4, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Boyd "Bump" Blomberg at The Raven's Nest (located on the rooftop of the Gun Flint Tavern) - July 4, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Closures
- The Hub/Grand Marais Senior Center will be closed July 4-5
- Boreal Community Media's free community tech event is cancelled this week and will resume next Thursday
- Cook County offices will be closed on July 4
