Cook County Search and Rescue teams are currently assisting on a medical incident in the BWCAW to reach a 9-year-old boy who was struck by a tree while in a tent during this evening's storm. Cook County Sheriff Pat Eliasen told Boreal Community Media that crews are heading "to medevac him out but have not reached the campsite yet." The rescue will likely take place by watercraft.
