From the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office - December 4, 2023

On November 29, 2023, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender's Task Force executed a search warrant on a vehicle after conducting a traffic stop at the Anchor Lake Rest Stop in unorganized township 56-17 (near Eveleth, Minnesota). The search warrant on the vehicle yielded $19,100 currency, methamphetamine, a handgun, and marijuana. The driver of the vehicle was lodged at the St. Louis Co jail in Virginia on various charges.

A subsequent search warrant was later executed at the individual's residence in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. During the execution of the search warrant, marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, and schedule 4 pills were located. An additional $95,000 currency and firearms were also seized.
