Hazardous marine conditions for Oct 4: potential gale force wind gusts and 4-7 foot waves between Grand Marais and Grand Portage

From the National Weather Service - Duluth - October 4, 2023
South winds will shift to the southwest this morning and increase in magnitude. Winds of 15 to 25 knots are expected with gusts of 22 to 32 knots through much of today.
Brief gale-force wind gusts will be possible today, especially between Grand Marais to Grand Portage.
Waves will also be building up to 4-7 feet, mainly along the North Shore and in the Outer Apostles.
Small Craft Advisories are in effect for all of western Lake Superior through this evening.
