If you haven’t mailed your Absentee ballot in yet, officials warn that it may be too late. You’ll have to turn it in person.
Post office staffing shortages have led to significant mails delays. That’s why the city is asking that you turn in the ballot in person to the City Clerk office instead of mailing it. That’s Suite 200 of the Government Building.
Editor's note: For Cook County residents, ballots can be dropped off in the drop box outside of the Cook County Courthouse.
They want to make sure your vote counts. Ballots are due at 8pm on election day.
