Free soup and sandwiches for Veterans and Active Military

Gene's Foods is once again providing free soup and sandwiches for all Veterans, Active Military Service Members, and their spouses on Friday, November 11, 2022. 

This year Orvis and Donna Lunke have graciously volunteered to deliver soup and sandwiches to the greater Grand Marais area. To arrange food delivery, please call 218-387-1212 before 11:30am, Friday, November 11, 2022.

Veterans Day Dinner

The local Auxiliary and Legion are jointly sponsoring a Veterans Day dinner at Birch Terrace Supper Club on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

The meal will be free for each Veteran and their spouse. Other family members and friends may attend, but will have to pay for their meal ($22+tax). The dinner will include brisket, baked potato, vegetable, roll, cake, and coffee.
