From the Gunflint Mail Run - January 9, 2022

Matt Schmidt of Sawtooth Racing took the crown in this year's Gunflint Mail Run 12 dog sled race while Joanna Oberg finished first in the 8 dog race held Saturday into Sunday.  Both mushers are from Grand Marais, Minnesota. The race was shortened this year due to trail conditions.
