Commemorative Coin available to GWOT Veterans

In recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and subsequent Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs has created a commemorative coin as an expression of appreciation to Minnesota Veterans who have served since that fateful day. 100-Mile Ruck for Vets 

Paul Davis, Project Got Your Back will ruck 100-miles along the Luce Line Trail this September, carrying a Veteran Banner which will read “Veterans Have Each Other’s Back.” The purpose is to raise awareness for the Navigator Program with Project Got Your Back. The Navigator Program connects Veterans and military-connected clients with certified Veteran Navigators. These year-long relationships connect the Clients with the numerous benefits, resources, and contacts within the military ecosystem. To learn more check out their website and Facebook page!

Family Sports Day

The YMCA would like to invite our military heroes (active duty and veterans) to spend the day cheering for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. They will be playing the Kansas City Royals on September 10, 11 and 12. Choose from one of the three days or multiple days you would like to attend.
