The first saltie of the shipping season made its way into the Duluth Canal Sunday.

The Federal Biscay from Turkey arrived earlier Sunday afternoon carrying 21,000 tons of concrete for infrastructure projects in the Twin Ports and other areas.

She was then reloaded with grain before departing the port Sunday night.
