Joint Powers Zoom Meeting to Discuss Racial Inequity coming Tuesday

On Tuesday, August 25, the Cook County Joint Powers Group will meet at 5:30 pm to discuss efforts that are underway or planned by their respective organizations to address racial inequity within Cook County. The meeting will also include a discussion on how the joint powers entities can collaborate on these efforts.

Cook County Joint Powers includes the boards and administration of Cook County, the City of Grand Marais, Grand Portage, ISD 166, North Shore Health and the EDA. This is a public meeting but will be held virtually via ZOOM.

The public meeting can be accessed as follows:

Purpose: To begin a collective discussion on racial inequity within the County and define how we can work together to address and change this going forward as a community.
