Buck's Hardware announces changes to policy and process related to COVID 19

From Buck's Hardware - May 7, 2020

As an essential business Buck's has remained open to serve our community. During
that time we have increased our cleaning procedures, limited in-store traffic,
encouraged social distancing within the store, offered curbside pick-up and delivery,
and provided drop-off service for other businesses.

Anticipating the increased traffic that comes with the season, Buck's Hardware has
announced new policies that effects in-store shopping. While these policies may not be
welcomed by all, we believe the added safety is worth the short term inconvenience.

Face Coverings Required
To help protect our employees and guests, beginning May 8, 2020, all Buck's
employees and guests must wear a face covering that covers the mouth and nose,
while in the store. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to
individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition.

Over the past month, Buck's employees have been wearing face coverings, and now we
are asking that our guests also do the same. We understand that not every guest will
agree with this policy, this is not a matter of personal choice; a face covering protects
not just the wearer, but others too. We strive to ensure that our store is a safe place to
work and shop and appreciate your help.

Guest limitation
To help maintain social distancing, we are implementing a new guest system.
Limit of 6 people shopping in the store
Limit of 1 person per party, 1 minor child accompanied by an adult is allowed
Limit of 2 people in store purchasing Fishing/Hunting licenses or bait

Capacity management
  • Salmon colored cards, each shopper should take a card when they enter the store.
  • Sunfish Yellow cards, if you are purchasing a license or bait, please take a card when you enter the store.
If there are no cards available the store is at capacity, PLEASE wait for a customer to
leave.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the use of face coverings in
public settings where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Please continue to
observe rules regarding appropriate distancing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
