Cook County Workforce Housing Survey 2019

Dec 10, 2019 06:17AM ● By Editor
From the Cook County Economic Development Authority - December 9, 2019

The Cook County/Grand Marais EDA is gathering data from the Cook County community of employers, employees and those looking for housing to best understand specific needs in the local housing market.  We have a study that tells us we need to build 25 houses per year for 5 years plus 75 rental units.  We are interested in hearing from the community about details...how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, how much rent or mortgage, etc. as you will see in the survey we are sharing today.

We continue to work with developers of housing and want to be sure we create that which best meets the needs of the community.  Our focus is WORKFORCE housing.  Deadline to complete the survey is December 31, 2019

Please see the attached Cook County Workforce Housing Survey 2019.
It is also found here on Survey Monkey:   ttps://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DVWJ26B

People may go to the Grand Marais Public Library for assistance with both the paper and electronic versions of the survey.

Thank you to Julie Petrusha and Tina Hegg-Raway for their valuable time and attention to the creation of the survey.

Thank you to Patrick Knight, City of Grand Marais, for setting this up with Survey Monkey.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if I can be of assistance in any way.
