August 29, 2018 -  The new playground equipment at the Cook County Community Center is now open for use - one day earlier than expected. 

“We still have some things to fix and finish around the site, but all the equipment is ready to go with the new wood fiber installed,” said Diane Booth, Director Cook County Community Center/Extension Service.

Children and families and welcome to come and enjoy this new play space. A natural play area next to the new playground is also planned. The remaining pile of wood fiber at the site is for that section.
