Art patrons and foodies alike were served an artful evening in the fundraiser for the Grand Marais Art Colony at Harbor Park in Grand Marais on Saturday. The event was billed as hospitality, philanthropy, community and of course - fun!
The evening activities included a silent auction of items donated by the Art Colony's community of supporters. A live auction featured original artwork from local artisans. Music was provided by the Kilborn Quartet.
Food and libations were also a highlight of the evening. Beverages from Voyageur Brewing and North Shore Winery accompanied tasty treats form Bluefin Bay & Coho Cafe, Double D's Catering and BBQ, Poplar Haus and the Wunderbar Easter and Glamground. The event was billed as 100% sustainable with all dishes, cups and utensils served were fully compostable.
