Local power trio The BlackFlys will bring their unique brand fun protest punk dance music to the Gunflint Tavern for a two night stand. Drawing from the  the relatively short history of legendary punk music, power pop, and just darn good pop music; the band will shake things up. This is upstairs at the Raven's Nest for all to see and hear in front of all of nature on two beautiful evenings. Their goal is to provide the proper soundtrack for these unusual times in such a way as to put a spring in your step and give you the strength to carry on and find your unique blend of patriotism, rebellion, and neighborly love. The music selection is high energy and socially conscious without being a downer, combined with humor and loose interpretations of classics. A good time will be had by all. Dance like no one is watching. Unless you are trying to impress that one person over there that keeps raising their glass and winking at you.
