Kelly Dupre – Community Printmaking Workshop
Kelly Dupre will be the newest Artist-in Residence for the Gunflint Trail Historical Society, June 19–28, 2026
Duluth-based printmaker and teacher Kelly Dupre brings deep roots on the Trail and North Shore to her residency, June 19–28, 2026. After recovering from a wrist injury that limited her ability to create, this residency marks a meaningful return to her craft.
As part of her residency, Kelly will host a free Community Printmaking Workshop on Wednesday, June 24, from 3–5 p.m. in the Mid-Trail area at the A. Paul & Carol Schaap Community Center (7401 Gunflint Trail). Participants will explore relief and monoprint techniques, drawing inspiration from the Boreal forest. No prior experience or materials are needed.
Hands-on participation is limited to 15 people, early registration is encouraged. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult, as sharp carving tools will be used.
