The weekend starts off at North Shore Winery, where you will get checked in, pick up your t-shirt and swag bag, and meet other participants and the coaches. Pro mechanic Casey Wytaske, along with our coaches, will be onsite to do bike checks, so bring your bike if you’d like it checked out before the weekend of riding. After some wine or cider, head over to Caribou Highlands for live music to celebrate the summer solstice. 

Saturday includes a light breakfast and then we will split up into assigned groups (based on your skill level and experience) where you will receive professional instruction by certified mountain bike coaches to enhance your mountain bike skills—no matter the level of riding you are currently at. After lunch, we’ll head out on the trails to apply your morning skills. Saturday evening includes a catered dinner at Caribou Highlands, followed by an optional interactive “Fix Your Own Shift” bike maintenance clinic. Led by Casey, the clinic will teach you how the derailleur works and how to identify shifting issues and resolve them on your own. 

Start your Sunday morning off with a 30-minute yoga session with yoga instructor Mindy Bichel, where you’ll have the opportunity to stretch and do breathwork before breakfast. Then we’ll have a light breakfast and spend the rest of the morning riding! We’ll rejoin for a closing ceremony and raffle from our incredible sponsors.

Registration includes social hour at the North Shore Winery, live music, mountain bike skills instruction by pro female coaches, a maintenance clinic, yoga, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast, SheRides swag and t-shirt.

We believe in supporting women in the bike industry. Your registration goes towards paying fair wages to the coaches, catered breakfast by a female owned small business, and to Superior Cycling Association to build, maintain and groom the singletrack trails of Cook County.

Registration is $229 for SCA members and Cook County residents, or $279 if you are neither.
