This month's Poetry Bonfire will be lead by local poet, Sandra Hisakuni, author of The Northland Beckons. Focusing on Haiku. More information to come.

Sandra Hisakuni is an English Language teacher who has taught in Japan, China, and the United States. She enjoys spending time in the wilderness and with her son and daughter. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We meet just behind the shop on the beach side, and sometimes we get to witness the moon rise during readings!

When possible, local and regional poets will be given the lead and the remaining portion will be open mic. If you have interest in leading a reading, or specific questions, contact us on our website.
