From scheduling meetings to getting stuff done, find out ways to check more things off of your to-do list while staying sane.

Presenters: Jennifer is part of the Minnesota Extension -Community Vitality team. Immediately prior to joining Extension, Jennifer worked at the Carlson School of Management's Carlson Global Institute as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Global Business Practicum program. In that capacity, she led the creation of a speaker and video series to highlight international business issues, designed and implemented a customer relationship management system, and led the department's strategic planning process among other key initiatives. Prior to the Carlson School, Jennifer spent over seven years as a practitioner of economic development in roles at the regional and state levels in Minnesota. Her work in economic development includes the creation of Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies, grant writing, revolving loan fund administration, evaluation of economic development initiatives, asset-based business attraction, and aligning resources to support the growth of new and existing businesses.

Lori Rothstein brings a host of experiences in community development - from northern Minnesota to Namibia - to Extension's Leadership and Civic Engagement team. Before joining Extension in 2010, Lori was a training and facilitation specialist for Tetra Tech ARD in Burlington, VT. There, Lori facilitated strategic planning efforts and provided training on engaging all community members to USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development)-funded projects worldwide. Before that, she worked for Extension's Horizons program, coaching five rural Minnesota communities through an 18-month process to reduce the effects of poverty through community action.
