Free Community Writing Workshop
Writing About Religion. Use the tools of narrative craft to explore painful, complex, or surprising memories around religion and spirituality.
During this 2-hour workshop, you'll delve into personal memories and stories guided by writing prompts, study literary craft techniques, and enjoy quiet writing time and optional sharing.
ALL ARE WELCOME. Open to writers at all levels, from novice to professional. Open to all faith backgrounds.
This workshop is facilitated by fiction writer and essayist Kasey Payette, a fiscal year 2019 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
