Annual community fundraiser for local programs addressing Cook County's hunger needs. Delicious soup meal and beautiful bowls.

Empty Bowls raises critical funds for the Cook County Food Shelf and other community organizations addressing Cook County’s hunger needs year-round. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 14 at St. John’s Catholic Church in at Broadway and 5th Street in Grand Marais. The event features a simple soup dinner with soup and bread provided by local restaurants and a sale of beautiful handcrafted bowls made at the Grand Marais Art Colony, as well as a bake sale and Fiber Guild bowl cozy sale.
